Concierge service: If scheduling is a challenge, please note that nobody needs to be home during the cleaning. While it is certainly ideal to perform a walk-through together with you before commencing and after completing the job, we do offer this flexible concierge service where we are quite happy to make creative arrangements with you to gain access, complete the work, then lock-up afterwards. We could text with and meet with a trusted neighbour, find a hidden key, or use an access code that you provide. You could leave us a written note or hand-drawn diagram, and we can call or text with you upon arrival to make sure we’re taking care of those pesky coffee-spills beside the sofa. We can even feed the cat! As for billing, we only accept payment after you’ve returned home to see the workmanship and are fully satisfied with the service and results.

Preparing for your Cleaning Service Appointment
To prepare for any on-site Dri-Way service, please remove all small items, ornaments and cluttery objects like lamps and such from nearby the areas to be cleaned.
Fitted Carpet Rooms or Areas: The good news is you don’t have to completely empty the room with a Dri-Way cleaning!
Feel free to leave a reasonable amount of larger items such as sofas, chairs, and tables to be shifted back-and-forth during the cleaning by our technician. We’re happy to help, and there is no charge for this. Our technician will not move any pieces that are too heavy, too awkward, or have items on top of, or inside of them such as dressers, shelves, cabinets, desks, or electronics. However, if these pieces are completely emptied and sturdy enough, they can usually be moved easily. Beds and other large objects can *sometimes* be moved. All items must be moveable by our single technician without any assistance whatsoever* from you. Vacuuming: Feel free to vacuum ahead our arrival if you wish, but we will also always vacuum as part of our service. Please ensure any hose-clogging debris such as hairpins, paperclips and toothpicks are removed from the area. Things like lamps, clocks, and sundry electronics should be unplugged and cleared away as much as possible. Your technician will walk-through with you to determine what is to be shifted or left in place during the pre-inspection just prior to commencing the cleaning service. Loose fabrics: Bed skirts should be tucked up, draperies should be pulled at least 8 inches from the floor, and any low-hanging clothing in closets should not hang within about eight inches of the carpet.
*We will not accept assistance from clients to shift furniture or items during the cleaning. The entire jobsite must be fully prepared in advance of our arrival, and we will need access to the entire jobsite from arrival to finish. In every case, your technician will walk-through upon arrival with you to determine what can or cannot be moved during the job.
On-site Area Rugs: Preparing for your in-home Area Rug cleaning: Ensure that the rug is fully rolled-out onto a flat surface. It doesn’t matter what flooring surface your rug currently lays on: Laminate, other carpet, and even hardwood floors are not a problem with Dri-Way. Ideally, there should be at least a foot of space around all edges of the rug. The rug should be completely cleared of all items and no part of it can be tucked or folded under any furniture -if possible.
In-shop Area Rugs: Rugs that have had a special appointment made for pickup must be fully rolled-out flat for initial inspection by our technician before placing it in our van. (Note: we currently do not offer in-shop Area Rug cleaning).
Upholstery Cleaning: Ideally, there should be about 3 feet of space around all sides of the upholstery to be cleaned, and there should be floor-protective felt or cushioning installed on the legs so that we can shift the furniture as required without damage to your floor. Please check for hose-clogging debris stuffed between or under the cushions (cat toys/wrappers/that missing remote). You’d be surprised what treasures can be found there!
Sectional Sofas: For our technician to be able to clean the back, sides, and in-between each section, the sofa must be prepared in advance by having each section separated from the next, and the entire sofa should be pulled away from the wall if you want the back cleaned as well.
Mattresses: Prepare by completely removing all blankets and covers. Leave mattress in place on top of whatever bedframe it normally resides on.
Things We Will Require from You
Electrical: We must have to standard 110 volt, grounded (three-prong plug) electrical outlets that can handle up to 15 amps. In other words normal household power. Just in case of a rare tripped circuit, we will need access to the breaker panel.
Lighting: As much lighting as you can provide is helpful during late afternoon, winter appointments.
Water: Though we don’t need to tap into a constantly flowing water source like a wet-method cleaner, it’s helpful to have access to a laundry or kitchen sink or perhaps a bathtub so we can draw a gallon or two of water to mix up some solutions.
Washroom: Access to a washroom (especially on larger jobs) would be very kind indeed, if at all possible.
Payment method
Only after you are completely satisfied with our service and results will we accept payment. We can accept cash, cheque, or credit card payments upon completion. E-Transfer payments via email afterword are convenient as well, in fact we prefer them. In every case we will get a marked-paid invoice back to you as a PDF for your records.

- We use certified products that fight against pathogens including those of the Corona family.
- We wear fresh booties at each cleaning job and leave you the option whether you’d like us to also wear masks. We always include safe, eco-friendly sanitizing as part of every Fitted Carpet, Upholstery, or Area Rug cleaning service.
